Licensed Microwave Systems
Our licensed microwave systems use FCC registered frequencies between 6 GHz and 38 GHz. These licensed systems allow for high bandwidth, line of sight connectivity up to 30+ miles. Since the frequencies are registered with the FCC, they are not susceptible to interference from outside sources like unlicensed frequencies. This is especially important in areas where the use of wireless technology is widely deployed today or may be in the future.
Unlicensed Microwave Systems
In addition to licensed spectrum solutions, Aeros also offers unlicensed solutions using the 5.3, 5.8 and 60 GHz frequencies. In scenarios where frequency interference is unlikely, unlicensed systems can be deployed reliably and offer robust performance. Unlicensed systems can be deployed over long distances, sometimes even without good line of sight.
Free Space Optic Systems
Free Space Optic systems use lasers for line of sight connectivity at speeds up to 2.5 Gbps for distances up to 2km. FSO does not need FCC licensing and is very unlikely to suffer from outside interference. This allows for secure, rapid deployments over short distances.
Encryption
Ensuring the protection and integrity of today’s data is of paramount importance, so all of the systems we implement can be encrypted to a desired level such as 3DES or AES without affecting the performance of the system.
LAN/WAN Integration
Aeros can provide full integration support for new or existing, routed or switched networks. This reduces implementation times and ensures that your applications are being transported optimally on your new fixed wireless system.
